Gymnocephalus acerina (Güldenstädt,
1774). Novi Comment. Acad. Sci. Imp. Petropol. v. 19 457 Pl. 11. Sinonimo
senior, nuova combinazione, nomenclatura specifica ritenuta valida da
ICZN. In realtà, per coerenza con il genere del nome generico (maschile),
il nome specifico dovrebbe essere cambiato in acerinus (S.
Porcellotti).
Perca acerina Güldenstädt 1774.
Caroli a Linné ... Systema Naturae per regna tria naturae, secundum
classes, ordines, genera, species; cum characteribus, differentiis,
synonymis, locis. Editio decimo tertia, aucta, reformata. 3 vols. in 9
parts. Lipsiae, 1788-93. Vol. 1 (pt 3): 1033-1516. Kottelat & Freyhof
(2009:83-85) forniscono ampie osservazioni sull'uso di questo nome da
parte di Güldenstädt. I due autori suggeriscono che Güldenstädt (1775:457,
Pl. 11) non ha assegnato il taxon ad un genere, e acerina non è
stato proposto come nome scientifico. Indicano anche che il nome
acerina è reso disponibile da Gmelin 1789:1321, e dichiarano
tanaicensis nomen oblitum, e acerina protectum nomen.
Bogutskaya & Naseka (2004:205) datano acerina come Güldenstädt 1774 [ivi
1775] e trattano il nome come sostantivo, da cui Gymnocephalus acerina.
Sinonimo senior, combinazione originale, nomenclatura specifica non valida
secondo i criteri ICZN. Opinioni - Nomenclatura specifica valida come
Acerina acerina (Güldenstädt 1775), secondo Berg 1949:1048.
Nomenclatura specifica valida come Gymnocephalus acerina [a volte
scritto acerinus] (Güldenstädt 1775), secondo Collette & Bănărescu
1977:1453, Lelek 1987:280, Reshetnikov et al. 1997:749, Popova
1998:117, Bogutskaya et al. 2001:47, Parin 2003:S3, Bogutskaya &
Naseka 2004:205 datato al 1774, Kottelat & Freyhof 2007:527, Parin
et al. 2014:354. Nomenclatura
specifica da attribuire a Gmelin (ex Güldenstädt) 1789, secondo Kottelat &
Freyhof 2009:84. Nomenclatura specifica valida come Gymnocephalus
acerina (Gmelin 1789), secondo Kottelat & Freyhof 2009:84 datata Gmelin
1788.
Gymnocephalus acerinus (Güldenstädt,
1774). Novi Comment. Acad. Sci. Imp. Petropol. v. 19 457 Pl. 11. Sinonimo
senior, nuova combinazione, nomenclatura specifica non ritenuta valida da
ICZN. In realtà il nome è coerente con il genere maschile del nome
generico (S. Porcellotti).

Güldenstädt 1774, non valida secondo i criteri ICZN. Opinioni - Sinonimo
di Acerina acerina (Güldenstädt 1774), secondo Berg 1949:1048.
Sinonimo di Gymnocephalus acerinus (Güldenstädt 1774), secondo Popova 1998:117. Sinonimo di Gymnocephalus acerina (Gmelin 1789),

Rußisch-Kayserlichen Akademie der Wissenschaften herausgegeben von P. S.
Pallas. 2 vol. Vol. 1 (1787); Vol. 2 (1791). Sinonimo junior, combinazione
originale, nomenclatura specifica non valida secondo i criteri ICZN.
Opinioni - In sinonimia di Gymnocephalus acerina (Gmelin 1789),
secondo Kottelat & Freyhof 2009:84. Località tipo - Fiume Dnieper, a
Kamenka, Kirovohrad Oblast, Ucraina. Kottelat & Freyhof (2009:84)
considerano tanaicensis nome disponibile ma non utilizzato come
valido a partire dal 1899, mentre Perca acerina è stato utilizzato.
Kottelat & Freyhof (2009:84) dichiarano quindi tanaicensis nomen
oblitum e dichiarano Perca acerina Gmelin 1789 (erroneamente datato
1788) nomen protectum con precedenza su P. tanaicensis.
