Distribuzione di Rana dalmatina secondo IUCN

 

Specie diffusa dalla Francia del nord ed estremo sud della Svezia fino al nordest della Spagna, Sicilia, Grecia, Carpazi, Ucraina, Moldova, Turchia nord occidentale. In Spagna la sua presenza è limitata alle province di Álava, Burgos e Navarra, ed è assente dal Portogallo. In Gran Bretagna esiste una piccola popolazione nel Jersey. In Scandinavia è diffusa solo nella Danimarca orientale ed in alcune zone della Svezia meridionale. L'esistenza della specie nel sud est della Polonia deve essere confermata. Nell'ex URSS è conosciuta soltanto nella transcarpazia ucraina. R, dalmatina vive dal livello del mare fino a circa 1.700 metri di quota.
